Truck Restrictions on US 95

Between East Fork Road and Old Highway (8 miles north of the Council area). Bridge construction work is in progress. The roadway is reduced to one lane. Look out for flaggers. Look out for temporary traffic lights. There is a width limit in effect. Speed restrictions are in force. Width limit 12'0". Speed limit 35 MPH. Until November 1, 2019 at about 7:00PM MDT.

Web Comment: The work zone will be reduced to a single lane with alternating one-way traffic. Traffic signals will be used at both ends of the structure. Flaggers will assist with traffic control as needed. Short term (up to 30 minute) full closures of US-95 may occur for girder placement. The Weiser River National Recreation Trail under the bridge will be closed and detoured across US-95 at the north end of the bridge (Fruitvale/Glendale Road). Motorists are encouraged to slow down and be prepared for stopped vehicles or crossing pedestrians at the signals.

Web Comment: Crews are working to replace the Little Rainbow Bridge, on US-95 at approximately milepost 174. The new structure will be built adjacent to the old one, and the highway will realigned slightly to the southwest.

Web Comment: All loads wider than 11' should contact Sandie Walker 509-949-8710.Activities will be phased to minimize public impact, however there will be intermittent blocking of the sidewalks, driveways and side streets. Crews will be working day shifts and nights shifts. Some delays should be expected. Width restriction of 11 feet per lane starting May 3, 2019 till October 1, 2019. Loads wider than 11' are restricted to only going through on Wednesday mornings between 3:00am to 6:00am.
