Between Peek Rock Road and Pascoe Lane (14 to 19 miles south of the Homedale area). Road construction work is in progress. The road is being repaved. Look out for temporary traffic lights. The roadway is reduced to one lane. Expect delays. Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Speed limit 45 MPH. Expect 10 - minute delays. Width limit 14'0". Until October 28, 2018 at about 11:59PM MDT.

Web Comment: Drivers are urged to use extreme caution and be prepared to slow/stop, as this project takes place on a steep downward grade when traveling north on US-95. Permitted oversize loads over 14' wide, please contact Mike Van Lydegraf at 208-473-9403 at least 24 hours before traveling through the project to coordinate your trip with construction efforts. Concrete barrier and temporary traffic signals have been placed.

Between Smith Road and Viola Road - Trestle Road (5 miles north of the Moscow area). Bridge construction work is in progress. The roadway is reduced to one lane. Expect delays. Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Look out for temporary traffic lights. Width limit 15'0". Expect 15 - minute delays. Speed limit 35 MPH. Until October 2, 2018 at about 11:59PM PDT.

Web Comment: The existing bridge will be removed and replaced with a new structure. One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction. Temporary traffic signals will be used 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, to control traffic flow in each direction.

Between ID 60 (5 miles north of the Tensed area) and Minaloosa Valley Road (5 miles south of the Plummer area). Road construction work is in progress because of bridge demolition work. There are alternating lane closures. Short delays are possible. Look out for flaggers. Speed limit 35 MPH. Width limit 12'0". Until November 16, 2018 at about 6:00PM PDT.

Web Comment: Be advised equipment mobilization and off road work will begin August 6th, 2018 with no impacts in place. Begin of road reconstruction and bridge work affecting traffic will begin August 13th, 2018. Truck restriction will be in affect after the August 13th, 2018 starting date.

Between Monroe Street and Chinook Street (Bonners Ferry). The roadway is reduced to two lanes. Look out for construction work. Be aware of narrow lanes. Width limit 11'0". Speed limit 25 MPH. Until October 15, 2018 at about 11:59PM PDT.

Web Comment: Painted lines are 11' wide with the actual physical width restriction of 22', which encompasses both lanes. The area between Arizona Bridge and Kootenai River bridge, the work zone is in the center with a single 13' traffic lane on each side. Loads wider than 11 ft are restricted to only going through at nighttime hours. Nighttime hours are from Midnight to 4:30 a.m and will need to address potential conflicts with opposing traffic through the work Zone. On Sept. 25th through Oct. 15th there will be various traffic control plans for paving operations. Oversize loads will be restricted to pass through only on Wednesday nights between the hours of Midnight to 4:30 a.m. with the aid of contractor traffic control.
