Web Comment: Drivers are urged to use extreme caution and be prepared to slow/stop, as this project takes place on a steep downward grade when traveling north on US-95. Permitted oversize loads over 14' wide, please contact Mike Van Lydegraf at 208-473-9403 at least 24 hours before traveling through the project to coordinate your trip with construction efforts. Concrete barrier and temporary traffic signals have been placed.

Web Comment: The existing bridge will be removed and replaced with a new structure. One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction. Temporary traffic signals will be used 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, to control traffic flow in each direction.

Web Comment: Painted lines are 11' wide with the actual physical width restriction of 22'0", however that encompasses both lanes. Loads wider than 11' are restricted to only going through during the night time hours of midnight to 4:30am and will need to address potential conflict with opposing traffic through the work zone.The Contractor is planning to do night work on August 8th, 9th, & 10th, between the hours of 8:00pm and 6:00am. The contractor will one lane traffic on US-95 in the work area between Madison Street and Kootenai River Bridge with the aid of traffic control flaggers. Permitted loads wider than 11' will be accommodated to pass through between the hours of midnight and 4:30am.
