Between Second Street West and Magic View Road (15 miles east of the Fairfield area). Bridge maintenance work is in progress. There is work on the shoulder. The roadway is reduced to one lane. Expect single line traffic alternating directions. Look out for flaggers. Expect delays. Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Expect 5 - minute delays.. Speed limit 45 MPH . Width limit 16'0". From 7:00AM MDT to 7:00PM MDT on weekdays. Until July 12.

Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Look out for flaggers. Speed limit 55 MPH . Width limit 14'0". Until June 28.

Comment: Resurfacing U.S. 20 between Thornton and Rexburg. Starting Monday June 17 the intersections of W3800S (Lone Pine Nursery) and Thornton will be closed from 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM Monday thru Thursday to aid in getting rush hour traffic safely thru the work zone. Commercial transporters hauling loads wider than 14 feet need to contact Resident Engineer Wade Allen (208-745-5680) or Staff Engineer Bryan Young (208-745-5682) 24 hours in advance for special authorization to travel through the construction zone. Drivers should anticipate merging traffic, uneven surfaces, and construction workers and equipment. They should obey all traffic signs.
