Between Exit 332: South Rexburg and Exit 337: Salem Road (near Rexburg). Road construction work is in progress. The roadway is reduced to one lane. Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Speed limit 55 MPH . Width limit 14'0". Until September 11.

Comment: Resurfacing 2.3 miles of U.S. 20, between the south Rexburg interchange (Exit 332) and the South Fork Teton River bridge. Work will proceed on both northbound and southbound lanes simultaneously, Monday through Thursday.

Between Exit 346: Bridge Street and US Route 20 Business; 2600 East Road (1 mile east of the St. Anthony area). The intersecting road is closed because the bridge is closed. A detour is in operation. Until October 1.

Comment: The Del Rio Bridge on the U.S. 20 business loop east of St. Anthony is closed for replacement. Traffic on the main U.S. 20 route is unaffected. Please use the Bridge Street interchange on U.S. 20 in St. Anthony to access the busy main highway.

Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect. Look out for flaggers. Expect 30 - minute delays.. Speed limit 45 MPH . Width limit 11'0". Until October 9.

Comment: Reconstructing a three-mile stretch of U.S. 20 on the hill north of Ashton Mondays through Thursdays during daylight hours. When crews are present, travel will be reduced to one lane. Motorists should consider taking I-15 between Idaho Falls and Montana. Truckers will not be allowed to use Idaho 47 as an alternate route. Commercial drivers transporting permitted loads wider than 11 feet need to contact Resident Engineer Wade Allen (208-745-5680) or Staff Engineer Bryan Young (208-745-5682) 24 hours in advance for special authorization to pass through the construction zone.
